Asics NYC Marathon: Selfie Stick

The New York City Marathon is one of the biggest events for competitive runners all over the country. For the 2015 NYC Marathon, Asics tasked us with creating the “World’s Biggest Selfie Stick”—a 90’ tall tower constructed of Truss columns with custom mechanics that raised and lowered a camera for participants to snap some unforgettable views of the visitors below.

The truss upright was the tallest structure in the entire Meatpacking District, requiring an array of building permits and agreements for the 3 day event.
